Safeguarding and Child Protection is of the upmost importance in Ysgol Minafon. We have a statutory duty to protect all children, families and staff in our care.

As a school, we follow Conwy Local Authority guidance and systems. The school also has a Safeguarding Policy outlining protocol.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead is Mr. Ashley Bennett. However, in his absence the two Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads are Mrs Chloe Edwards and Miss Leanne Foxley.
