As a primary school based in Wales, we have an equal emphasis on developing pupils' language skills in both Cymraeg and English.

Our school celebrates both languages in equal importance and as such we aim to develop Welsh language skills within all lessons.

Many of the teaching staff in Ysgol Minafon are fluent in both languages and pupils experience the Welsh language being modelled in daily life.

Within our school, we promote the Welsh cultures, ethos and traditions, whilst also ensuring our pupils become 'Ethically informed citizens of Wales and the world'.
