New primary school menu – November 2026

Our new primary school lunch menu will be introduced from November 2026.

The menu has been developed in line with Welsh Government nutritional guidance and standards for food and drink in schools. To ensure we comply with these requirements and provide healthy, balanced and nutritious meals, schools must serve the meals shown on the published menu.

Changes to school food standards

Welsh Government is changing the nutritional guidelines for food and drink provided in schools.

To help parents and carers understand the changes and what they mean for school meals, Welsh Government has produced a useful Frequently Asked Questions document.
